My story
My name is María and I work with wine. But no, I don't spend my days toasting on a terrace overlooking vineyards. I'm an Agricultural Engineer and Winemaker (Oenologist), trained at the Universitat Politècnica de València, and I've spent over 15 years in the industry: first learning what happens behind every bottle, then a long career focused on exports, presenting Spanish wineries to importers, consumers and at international wine trade fairs — from Valencia to London, Brussels, Munich, and many other European cities.
That journey has brought me into contact with all kinds of people: winery owners from other countries and regions of the world, importers, sommeliers, and also curious people who'd never tried a glass of red wine in their life. And I realized something: what I enjoy most isn't talking about wine with experts, but discovering it with people who don't know it yet.
That's why I started Wine O'Clock: to bring that same warmth to your table. Private, tailored tastings, without jargon that only a handful of people understand. If you love wine — or want to start really understanding it — this is your place.
